AIR - Asset Information Requirements

The Asset Information Requirements (AIR) are an essential part of the BIM process, which includes both business, commercial and technical aspects of providing information for an asset. A set of AIR should be prepared for each event during asset operation, including safety requirements where appropriate. These requirements specifically define what information is needed about the assets or assets of a construction project to ensure their effective management and operation throughout their life cycle. They include details such as component specifications, maintenance instructions, operating parameters, manufacturer information, energy efficiency data and more. Clearly defining the AIR is crucial to ensure that the BIM model contains all the necessary information to meet the needs of the end users. This helps to better planning, execution and maintenance of the structure throughout its life cycle.
