In 2015, the standardization institute Austrian Standards (ASI) put the so-called ASI feature server for BIM online for national standardization. The aim was to create a database in which a structure of the properties of components and materials is defined. This structure is intended to create a neutral language through certain characteristics of the elements and is available free of charge at http://db.freebim.at.
