COBie - Construction Operations Building Information Exchange

COBie stands for Construction Operations Building Information Exchange. It is a data exchange format that contains subsets of information from a BIM model. This information is not geometric but alphanumeric information from the field of facility management and is created in a spreadsheet format. The data can also be added and exchanged from various sources outside of CAD programs.
