The European standard DIN EN ISO 29481-2 “Building information models – Information delivery manual – Part 2: Interaction framework” defines a methodology and a format for describing coordination measures between those involved in construction projects in all phases of the life cycle.
It therefore includes:
-A methodology for describing an interactionstructure
-An appropriate method for representing responsibilities and interactions that provide a process context for the flowof information
-A form for defining the interaction structure
The standard aims to facilitate Interoperability between software applications used in the construction process and promote digital collaboration between stakeholders. It also aims to provide a basis for accurate, reliable, repeatable and high-quality information exchange.
