The ÖNORM A 6241-1 “Technical drawings for construction - Part 1: CAD data structure and Building Information Modeling (BIM) - Level 2” serves the purpose of National standardization, was published on July 1, 2015 and replaces the previous ÖNORM A 6240-4.
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the data exchange and data management of building information in building construction and related space-forming structures in civil engineering. These requirements apply both to the planning phase and to the lifecycle management of real estate and also include the Alphanumeric information, contained in the Bauwerksmodellen.
The ÖNORM defines the basic terms, structures and representation principles required for the data transfer of two-dimensional CAD files and for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
