The property sets or Psets of an IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) define all properties that are dynamically extendable. These property sets, as they are called in German, can compose component tables when they are assigned to the objects and object styles for the component list. The properties within a Pset are based on the definition of the property set, which determines the object type, style and definition to which it is applicable.
