Bexel Manager - Beginner
This nugget covers the BEXEL Manager BIM management software. The series is aimed at beginners in Bexel.
Task 01
Building Explorer
- Using the 3D model and traffic light, check the cost indicator
Whether costs have already been assigned to the doors. When doing so, only blind the
Open doors. Integrate the cost indicator traffic light into the building
Explorer.
Task 02
Custom Breakdowns
- Create the “Custom Breakdown” with the title “Task 02.” This should the
Components from the third floor based on the family and its
Sort materials. Add colors to families. (see picture)
Task 03
layout
- Create a layout as shown in the picture.
- Export the layout and give it the title “Task 03".
- Reset the layout in Bexelmanager.
- Import your previously exported Task 03 layout.
Task 03
Properties
- Add the Simple Color Temperature property to the Photometrics group with the
Add “Warmwhite” value. - Export the properties as an Excel file.
- Add the “Light Bulbs” property to the “Electrical — Loads” group in the Excel file
with the value “LED E27” added. - Transfer the properties back to your project. (Importing)
- Check whether the properties have been adopted.
Task 04
Exporting IFC
- Select all pendant lamps
- Add the Simple Color Temperature property to the Photometrics group with the
Add “Warmwhite” value. - Export the properties as an Excel file.
- Add the “Light Bulbs” property to the “Electrical — Loads” group in the Excel file
with the value “LED E27” added. - Transfer the properties back to your project. (Importing)
- Check whether the properties have been adopted.
Task 05
Selection sets
- Create the “Selection Set” — “Curtain Panels” with all components
the property: “Category — Curtain Panels”. - Create three “selection sets.” UniFormat A — Uniformat B —
Uniformat C
Task 06
Scenes and Animations
1. Create an animation as an orbit. 5 notes/frames should be created
become (frame length 60). One more floor should be shown per frame
become. The video should rotate clockwise. As a template, this is
attached video.

Task 07
Clash Detection
1. Conduct a collision check for the ground floor and
export the quick export log. It should all

Quantity Takeoff
1. Determine the total length of the beams from the ground floor
using Quantity Takeoff.
Task 09
Cost Editor
1. Create a cost item for the concrete beams (Concrete
Beams). The reference should automatically be made via the category and the
Material is made.
